I think people overlook her because she was one of the heroes we got for free at the start, and the assumption is that a 9. CP hero will be better than one of the free ones we got at the start. But what really makes her amazing is that her highest damage attack ALSO strips Buffs from your opponent AND it doesn't have any Cooldown so it can be used every turn. She is key to taking out all the Captain Americas and Emma Frosts in PVP, and she is just plain AMAZING in PVE. Do yourself a favour, jam as many Strong ISOs as you can into her ISO slots (with maybe a couple of Steady ISOs to up her health just a little) and give her a go, you will be amazed. But once you come back, you'll be hating what you did to yourself and your team. Hit your opponent's Tacticians with it early, or, for added Pv. P fun, go after Thor (the computer likes to keep its buffs, so he'll just loop that for a few turns trying to keep his Strengthened online). High damage, combos with her Lvl 1, AND strips most buffs off of the target. This includes ALL stacks of Pheonix Rebirth and most, if not all, shield- effects. Drop it first to set up your roll, as it's a Quick Action. Then, every hit she takes, she'll add to your party's damage on the offender. And I mean EVERY attack. Scrapper picking on your Black Widow? If she survives both hits, that's a double mark. Take advantage of that weakness. Yes, she can annoy a Hulk just by kicking off his Enraged and Hulk Up, but if she doesn't dodge, he'll probably smack her into last week. Even with these drawbacks, don't be too hasty to overlook this Russian beauty! At level 6, she's awesome already, with Flying kick stripping Shields from opponents. And with just a level 1 Widow, you can just keep countering the enemy and continuously deal more damage with combo setup. And why isn't she or Iron Man the one who costs 1 CP but Hawkeye? The debuff move on her flying kick is very good, though not as effective as Gambit's or Panther's debuff move, it works in the flow of her attacks while Gambit's slows his progression and Panther's is completely outside his progression. It is also one of the most devastating moves in the game, neutral of attack, before you even factor the deadly crit. Properly ISO'd, she is a one- shot machine. Her redesigned L9 makes her a consistent stunner and a consistent critical hitter (very convenient since her kick is low accuracy and has a deadly crit). Her combo setup L1 plays nicely with other low cost heroes who can exploit combos and her L2 can keep her from spoiling a combo setup while also giving a damage slowing debuff, but neither is nearly as useful as the Kick. She holds value surprisingly well, and in her grey pajamas (particularly as a tactician) she is an offensive force in high level PVP. I would not use her for AFK, as she has two less than useful moves, making the AI play her very badly. Taking out all the characters with troublesome buffs is the reason I'd already started using her before the buff, and not long after, she was made nearly unstoppable. Some Trouble with Quicksilver, but when I have Tact suit, that won't be an issue, plus as I get higher, he's doing far less despite getting 4 attacks off. Still don't have too great a rating loss, so it's not that bad even on that front. Put her in her grey suit and watch her really shine. Better as a Tactian than Infiltrator in my mind. Has it all, Stealth attacks, stunning attack, weaken and a debuff move that hits like a freight train. With grey suit gets a counter attack as well. Her only downside a little fragile. Methinks that the best strategy to use her in is to use her Lvl 1 Attack on an opponent (A Blaster for quicker preformance, but only if she is a Tactician), then Widowmaker, followed by her Lvl 6 Attack, which should damage, and hopefully Stun the opponent. ISO her Attack, make her a Tactician, and pit her against a Blaster, and she can be lethal. Her moves didn't seem to chain all that well, and her damage was less than satisfactory. Sure, I ISO- ed her and did all that, but Natasha was less than thrilling. It makes all of her moves better. Then I got her grey Tac suit, and she became Black Widow the Blaster Bane. Overall, Grey Widow gets a 7/1. She hits hard but can't take many hits. However, the game surely makes her a pretty good heroine. Her stats are fair and she does average damage. However, it's advicable you will get her. She is pretty cheap and she is quite useful into a wide variety of situations. She was pretty great in her normal uniform. Recently I have gotten her alt and I have to say that she is amazing in her alt. The stealthy of all her attacks can help you get another turn by going around protectors and hitting the blaster you want to hit. Her flying kick attack although it has low accuracy is one of the best attacks in the game it does quite a bit of damage and removes all buffs + it has NO cooldown time. Her l. 9 has targetted in it so it helps set up her flying kick so it can crit and it also gives her a 7. My advice lvl her up as fast as you can and get that evil alt if u want to dominate low lvl pvp. User: That. Person. Over. There. Black Widow is one of those characters you ignore at first because of low damage. Strange can put on and still does high damage. I would kind of see her more as an Infiltrator in her Classic outfit as the support and build off of in terms of combat. With her new E- Iso putting a class specific debuff, it makes her Grey Suit Tac alt that much more deadly. Widow's not meant to be overpowering, she just sets up your enemies for a big attack from your Agent and the other hero you bring along. Passives; Marked for Revenge - Places Marked for Revenge when attacked, increasing damage done. Level 1 (Marital Arts Combo) causes Combo Setup on an enemy. Level 2 (Widow's Bite) causes Weakened and Incapacitation on an enemy. Level 6 (Flying Kick) causes to remove beneficial statuses on the target. Level 9 (Widowmaker) is a Quick Action, that grants Widowmaker to Black Widow, that has a chance to stun the enemy with the next attack. Black Widow has two alternate uniforms: Grey Suit Black Widow: Grants a Tactician and Infiltrator option. It adds a passive; (For Tactician Grey Suit Alternate Uniform) grants Double- Agent Infiltrator; causes to counter an enemy attack, attacks are stealthy; (For Infiltrator Grey Suit Alternate Uniform) grants Double- Agent Tactician; single- target attacks against Marked for Revenge grant an extra turn. Avengers Black Widow: Grants a Tactician and Infiltrator option. It grants passives; Avengers Assemble - grants Coordinated Attack to all party members; grants Cooperative Defense to all party members if two Avengers members are present. Black Widow has an Empowered Iso- 8; Adroit Empowered Iso- 8, which grants Martial Arts Combo to cause Disadvantage. Summary: Black Widow is a powerful hero. Avengers: Age of Ultron Iron Man. People love Iron Man at the start, as he does more damage, generally, than Black Widow or Hawkeye. He is an early level mainstay. And as a result, he gets loaded with Iso Chips, maybe a fragment, and discarded, like a toy that you've outgrown. When you buy an alternate uniform for Ironman, and get him to level 9 and beyond, you put Iso Shards on him, and he really starts to wreck people. His Chest Beam is a devastating move with deadly criticals. He wrecks bruisers very quickly and alt- classed to tactician, gets very large with the chest beam in a hurry. With the shield provided by the ugly armor, he regains stamina every turn. Which is key to making Iron Man great. Chest Beam is only good while you continue to hit with it. It is stamina intensive, but it destroys enemies with one- shot overkills later in fights if you have it charged 3- 5 times. The only way to fire it 5 times is to get extra stamina. And keep him as a blaster, because what good are deadly crits if they're not automatic crits? Accuracy is key if you want him to go against not bruisers. I got all his uniforms but I use the ugly armor as a tactician. He's a one- trick character, doing nothing but Unibeam all the time, but after 5 or more stacks he's utterly devastating, capable of one- hit killing even the biggest bosses. After all, he is free. Due to his low amount of health, Healthy Iso- 8 is a necessity. His Repulsor Ray becomes weak, and his Ao. E attack, Missile Barrage becomes nothing but a low chance to inflict Burning. Unibeam attack becomes one of the most powerful attacks a Blaster can have, its damage going up each turn through Unibeam Focus. He becomes one of your true forces at Lv. For this reason, I do recommend training him, although he remains near useless until Unibeam is unlocked. A little while later, he wasn't too useful.. It takes a while for the Unibeam Focus to build up, but once it's at a decent amount of stacks, you can destroy nearly everything!! Unfortunately, this also wastes a lot of stamina, so his Mark IV alt is a necessity if you want to use him in Pv. P. Has a good but not great stat line, Medium damage attacks, can cause burning and has a shield. Unibeam is awesome when it starts stacking. Still in the PVP world there are better blasters so Iron man becomes fodder for stat increases and silver farming. It used to be the case that he was an all right Blaster, only good if you spammed his Unibeam and always hit. It was also a good idea to keep him as a Blaster, so that he would get automatic Deadly Crits against Bruisers. However, now it's best to get him as a Tactician, especially if you are getting his Mark 4. He can automatically crit and ignore defense.
